| I have many many loves in my life... My friends (Byron, Sean, Deana, and Amberleigh, to name a few...), my weiner Toby Too, my lab Bailey, my friend's cat Lunabelle, my horse Bourbon, carbs, Italian food, Chemistry, sunrises and sunsets, music, pepperoni and pineapple pizza, shopping, my cell phone, soccer, tennis, running, James Blunt, Jack Johnson, Ben Harper and Hawthorne Heights! I am the nicest person you could meet, unless you mess with one of my friends, then I get a little fiesty. Really fiesty. I love being the person I am. I am fun and outgoing and I love to be around the same kind of people. I will do anything for anyone as long as no one takes advantage. Me no likey that. I have some really amazing friends and I know that I always have someone at my back. I love animals, especially my dogs Bailey and Toby Too, and my horse Bourbon. I love to ride horses and play soccer. I try at tennis, but hey, not everyone can be a pro. I have done a lot of things in my life that I don't like, but as the saying goes, time is too short to regret. I just keep pushing forward. I plan to be a doctor when I graduate and, as another saying goes, I want to make a difference. Anything else you might like to know, you can just ask. I am not a shy person!
My hair's a wreck Mascara runs My feet get dirty and my skin burns in the sun My lips, they bleed But I still sing my songs Takes me a minute to admit it when I'm wrong Pretty is as pretty does, but pretty's not my thing... This is what you get This is who I am Take me now or leave me Any way you can Sometimes I trip and fall But I know where I stand And if you're thinking about changing my direction... Don't mess with Imperfection. My back is weak But my will is true Got good intentions but I never follow through I say too much Don't know when to leave In case you're looking that's my heart there on my sleeve Ego trips and stupid slipups, I'm a mess but.. Scratched and bruised, a little used, But baby, I work fine. You might call me damaged goods, But I'm one of a kind. My hair's a wreck Mascara runs No, I'm not perfect, but I'm not the only one... | Well, its been a minute since I updated. Lots of fun stuff has happened. Let's see where to begin... I am back in Ruston. Yeah. After the whole thing with Nick, I had little choice. The bad part about it was our AC was busted and our gas was off. We went for two weeks before I finally gave up on the apartment people taking care of it and just did it myself. It was awful in here for a bit though. Hot house and cold showers. Now we have hot showers and a cold house. I can't seem to thaw off. We keep it ubber cold in here. I am glad Bailey sleeps with me because I would be dying if he didn't. Body warmth is great. It's fun here in Ruston because I have Amberleigh, an old friend from middle and high school, and Deana, one of my best girl buds. Byron has also been here a lot. He is great. I don't know what I would do without the three of them. Amberleighs brother andrew is here a lot too. Billy, Deana's brother is also here. He's an interesting guy. Lots of fun as well. I also have Bailey and Toby with me, of course. Andrew really likes Bailey and plays with him a lot. There are two problems with the dogs though. They have both an issue with chewing and pottying outside. It drives me crazy. Billy walks them a lot for me though. Thank goodness. Steve and Amberleigh, while I thought it would last longer, broke up. I feel really bad for Amberleigh. I was really surprised by what Steve did to her. Maybe I am only getting one side of the story, but that still upsets me that it happened at all. One day you are telling someone you love them... The next day ya'll are broken up. That's bumped up. Deana and Justin seem to be doing well though. They argue a lot, but hey who can knock another's style of relationship. As long as she is happy, then I am happy for her. It's crazy to listen to them talking though. I am glad that I am not in a relationship like that. I don't think I could handle that too well. Last week I spent three out of the five days that Byron was in the hospital with him. We were all really worried for him. He was really sick with mono and there was little anyone could do to make it better. He got out on Monday and has been getting better since. I am rather happy about that. I was also excepted into Yale. It's been debated as to whether or not I will go, but we shall see. They are offering a full ride and living expenses to go to med school there. I would be crazy not to take it, but I probably will not. We shall see. This Sunday is Byron's birthday. We are going to throw a party for him at Nick's so we can BBQ on the grill. Should be fun. I am excited about it. I love to throw parties and decorate for them. Well, that is all I can think of at the moment... I will try to do better with the whole update thing, but we shall see... Hugs and kisses to all!
PS. Peewee's Playhouse sucks Byron. Get over it.
| Another chapter of grief in my life. Yippie. Well, we went to Dallas to pick out new cars. One for Deana, one for Byron. We were just supposed to be there for the day. It turned into two. Tuesday and Wednesday. We stayed the night at a Day's Inn. That was fun. Toby went along for the ride of course, but because we thought we were only going to be there for the night, we didn't bring dog food. Let us just say that he likes banana nut muffins and Cheetos. We also didn't bring clothes to change into or any personals. Check box A for the smart ones. It was my fault though. No one thought that we were going to be there all freakin night long. Anyway, the next day Byron and I went to several car dealerships and he tried everything one could think of. May I say that I am completely impressed with the Charger. Like wow, impressed. We ended up with a Mercedes though. It is a rather pretty black on black thingy. Don't ask for numbers because I really don't know them. Little behind on that part. Very nice car though. Deana also decided on a Mercedes as well. It is a convertible and it is Pewter Gray with black interior. Also nice. We unfortunately left without the cars due to insurance. When I got home I got more bad news. Nick had decided that he no longer wanted me to live with him. We fought for about an hour over the phone and in the end I felt like shit. What was once one of my closest friends is no treating me like one of his enemies. He told Sean that he had some things missing. I assume that means he thinks that I was the one that took them. Why I would want to take anything from Nick is beyond my comprehension, and as far as I can tell, just another thing for him to tell people so that they will not be mad at him for doing what he did. Either way, I have come to realize I don't care. I will love that guy till the day I die and I will always have his back. I just don't know how to deal with this one. Nick has done soooo much for me and I appreciate it all so much, but I can only do so much. I can't change him. He has to do it himself. So, I have decided to let it all ride out and see if anything changes. I hope it does, but at this point I am not to optimistic. Now back to the Dallas thing. We went back to Dallas this Sunday and stayed there from then to Tuesday evening. This time we were well prepared and Easter was along for the ride as well. That was a lot of fun. Byron and Easter made the trip well worth it this time around. Last time we all just wanted to kill each other. When we got there Sunday we all just crashed. Monday was a lot of fun because we went to Six Flags and got a little intoxicated that evening. Tuesday was back to the dealership to finalize everything and sign papers. Then we came home. That was a lot better than the first time. Yesterday was a trip and a half though. Things with Byron and his mom exploded and so did Deana's front right tire. Thank God for good people though. I don't know the first thing about changing a tire. We are about to get the car though. Both front tires have been well on their way to blowing. One of them just happened yesterday. I hope things are going to start getting a lot smoother now. Everyone is fine and all the dogs are good as well, so that's what counts. Anyway, I am going to make some food. My belly is making funny noises. Hugs to all.
Jess
By the way... Texas drivers are really bad. We almost got run off the road like 6 times. I think they should make their tests a lot harder to pass...
| So yeah. Everything has been great here. I am slowly but surely recovering from the whole car accident thing. I got some pictures of the whole thing when we went back to Monroe. Looking at it at a second glance, I am amazed that everyone is okay and that we all were hurt very little. God was definitely on our side that day. Nick is back in Missouri to see Jennifer again. Yeah for him. I hope he gets all of that taken care of. I worry about the poor guy. He din't have to lie about where he was going to everyone though. That was a mistake. We all could have figured it out on our own without him even telling us he was leaving. Too much drama circulating around him right now... Well, other stuff, Wednesday was Willie's birthday. We threw him a party and if the host had been there, it would have been great, but we had fun anyway. Thursday, nothing too spectacular. I don't remember anything at least. Friday was fun. Deana and me went to go look at cars all day long. Talked to a salesperson and all that jazz. Looks like it is going to end up being the Spyder Eclipse and the Dodge Magnum. May I ask whose dream car is a freakin; hearse lookin' Magnum. Yuck. Anyway after we got Byron from work Deana, Byron, and I went to look at cars until like 4 in the morning. Saturday was a bit more interesting. We went and ordered the Spyder in all the right colors and everything. After that we went to get Byron from work and then it was to the apartment. My sister brought my niece and nephew to come see me. That made me obbers happy. Later, when she had left, we went to Wal-Mart and Byron got some flowers and the like for his mom. It was really sweet. We headed over to his house after and Deana, Byron, and I sat and talked with his mom until Trent, Zack, and Jab showed up. Then it got interesting. I got to know what exactly the people around me think about not only myself, but their relationships with women in general. Let us just say that I don't think I will EVER date Trent or anyone like him. It was established that my friends are hoes. Haha. That's funny. After all that we came back to the apartment and we all went to sleep. Considering we have been going non-stop for like 2 weeks now, it was not a bad thing. Now here we are. Deana, Sean, and I are about to go to Party Central and play on the go carts. Should be fun. I have to go get a shower now so, I will holla at ya'll later. Hugs to all!

| - Love Hey hey to all. Well, Sat was fun. Sean, Deana, and me all went to see my friend Shelly and her boyfriend in Saline. We met at a bar in Campti and had some drinks and played some darts. After that we all decided to head down to a lake that is around that area and go swimming. Then... it turned into skinny dipping. Ummm yeah... running down the dock buck naked was interesting. Kinda cold too. We finally made it back to Shreveport at like 6:30 in the morning. Byron was waiting here when we got here. It was the first time I have ever actually seen him sleeping. Weird. On Sunday night we went to Mudbug Madness and got some crawfish and I cleaned all day. The crawfish were absolutely deeeelish. Yummy yummy. Now on to the fun stuff though. On Monday, Byron and I headed over to West Monroe. Went to move some of his things out of his apartment. Then we decided that we wanted to try again, for the second time, and see the new X-Men movie. On the way there, the worst thing imaginable happened. I was driving Byron's car and we started to hydroplane. Unfortunately, I had a choice of sending us into two trucks or a ditch filled with water. I chose just to stay in my lane and hit the back of one of the trucks. We knew we were going to hit as soon as we started to hydroplane, so we were a little prepared. Thankfully, Micah, Byron, and I were all mostly okay. Loads of bruises, soreness, and the like, but for the most part okay. I will be quite honest when I say that I was scared shitless. I really did think that I had killed us all. When pumping the brakes didn't work, and I started yelling that we couldn't slow down or stop. Thank God that nothing worst happened. I did total Byron's car though. The worst part about the whole thing was that. I didn't hurt the back of the truck barely, but Byron's is gone. He is one of the best guys I know though. All he cared about was that myself and Micah were okay. Then he let the shock of his car get to him. That wasn't good either. When the police got there it was still raining and they got kinda mad at us when they thought that Micah and I had exchanged seats when the crash happened. The people in front of us kept claiming we had and they were not happy about that. So, they threatened Micah about being sent to jail. Then they finally got some damn sense and decided to check the treads of our shoes and compare them to the imprints in front of the seats in the car. It was rediculous. After that we found out that Byron didn't have a copy of his insurance card in the car. Ummmm, in case anyone doesn't know, that's a big no no. So, I got to enjoy two tickets, one for the insurance and one for careless operation. Then Byron and Micah called their moms. Getting worst. After all the damage and reports had been assessed and written we went to the hospital to be checked out and everything. Byron's mom drove over to Monroe to get him and Micah's mom picked all of us up from the crash site. I called Sam and he came to get me. While I appreciate that whole hardily that wasn't a fun trip home. At all. He is still not very happy with me and that's no good. Anyway, at the doctor's he lectures us about wearing seatbelts and all that stuff and then checks us out. Byron and I were both wearing ours thankfully, but Micah was not. He hit the back of Byron's seat pretty bad. I am surprised that he didn't go through the window right along with Byron. Hitting the back of the truck, who was at a stop, right above 45 miles an hour could have done a lot more damage. Like loads. One being that we could have gone under the truck, who was a hell of a lot bigger than we were. Two, being that we could have gone off into the ditch, and three another car could have hit us from behind. We are very, very blessed. Byron's mom is still not a happy camper, but I think she is getting better. She even invited me over to eat dinner last night. That was a shock and a half. Byron is great though and I am very blessed to have him as a friend. Now is the part where I want to thank every one who had a hand in helping us yesterday or who just did what they could when we got back. So thanks to Willie, Deana, Sean, Micah's mom, Mrs. Debra, Mrs. Jackie, Sam, Amberleigh, Steve, and anyone else I may have forgotten. I did have a nasty bump to my entire body, so sorry if I couldn't remember you at the moment. I think I am going to go now. It hurts to sit up and all that jazz. Little tender, little tender. Anway, I hope everyone is doing well and all that jazz. Hugs to you all and be safe.
Always
